Learn a variety of seafood dishes from around Latin America with Chef Carolina.
In this team building seafood cooking class, you'll learn how to prepare a number of authentic dishes from around Latin America featuring a variety of fruits of the sea.
You'll start with an intriguing preparation of sea bass as an escabeche — marinated in vinegar — served with capers, olives and plum tomatoes. Then, Chef Carolina will showcase how to prepare shrimp with garlic sauce, and Spanish rice with squid and fried plantains. And for dessert, a twist on arroz con leche that's caramelized with a torch, like crème brûlée.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Carolina graduated from the Art Institute and The Institute of Natural Food, and worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. She has been surrounded by good food all of her life — her mother and grandmother were always in the kitchen cooking, and she learned many secrets to authentic ethnic Mexican food from them. This has been Chef Carolina's inspiration for creating menus full of natural, unprocessed foods.
