Chef Melissa assembles a stunning tribute to Southern dining with a private chef experience that brings Creole cuisine home for supper. She'll showcase heritage dishes influenced by generations of clever culinary inventions.
Sink your teeth into a lightly fried alligator tail. Later, enjoy gumbo peppered with sausage and chicken. Dish up crackling chicken thighs and get your fill of poached succulent Gulf shrimp with fried green tomatoes on the side. To finish on a sweet note, the chef will also prepare strawberries and cream bread pudding for dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

With experience teaching at the New Orleans School of Cooking, she is a passionate culinary educator and skilled chef. Her specialty is upscale Creole cuisine and she loves sharing the enchantment of New Orleans-style cooking with others.
