What You’ll Do

Enjoy an elevated plant-based meal focused on fresh, high-quality produce.

Whether you're a seasoned vegetarian or typically a meat eater, this gourmet meal will invigorate all of your senses while leaving you feeling full and satisfied. In this private chef experience, Chef Susie will prepare four sophisticated dishes with an emphasis on spice, flavor and fresh vegetables, including artisan grits with pinot noir mushrooms, buffalo-roasted cauliflower steak and a citrus and avocado gem lettuce salad.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Chef Susie is a cookbook author, chocolatier, pastry chef and culinary educator with more than a decade of experience teaching and running an artisan chocolate business, which has been featured on the Food Network. Prior to beginning her culinary career, Chef Susie worked as a TV executive at three of the Big Four networks. She is now the author of three books, the latest based on her award-winning culinary travel blog.

Chef Susie was most warm and welcoming. She made both of us and the other two participants feel right at home. She engaged us all in the meal preparation, sharing information throughout and ably fielding all questions. And, of course, capped off by a delicious French dinner. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
