Cooking Class - Thai Dinner and a Show

What You’ll Do

Treat yourself to an authentic Thai dinner and a show with the multi-talented Chef Lawrence.

In this hands-on class you will learn how to prepare traditional Thai favorites — vegetarian upon request — while enjoying the musical stylings of the incredibly talented Chef Lawrence.

You'll begin by rolling up your own vegetarian spring rolls. Then, make a delicious tom kha gai — a popular soup made with Thai ingredients, such as lemongrass, galangal, fish sauce, coconut milk, and kaffir lime leaves. Then, you'll make an authentic red curry paste for the base of your curry sauce. Lastly, brew a caffeine-free Thai iced tea with rooibos and sweetened condensed milk.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was such an amazing and intimate experience. Chef Lawrence was extremely hospitable. The wife and I are celebrating our anniversary and we chose to spend a portion of the time cooking, singing, and dining to bring in another year of love and gratitude. Good food and good company brings about a wonderful experience with Chef Lawrence, the composer.

Chef Lawrence's extensive background in cooking and the performing arts makes him an incredible teacher and entertainer. He can whip up a delicious fresh pasta with the simplest alfredo sauce that will blow guests away. From Italian to Thai, Chef Lawrence makes traveling the culinary world accessible in your own kitchen. He might even sing you your favorite Broadway hit while you simmer a curry!

Super fun and informative. We took "The Cheeses of Northern France" class and I, a non-cheese gourmand, got a good grasp on the process and styles of several cheeses and most importantly, learned about some new cheeses that I really like and will continue to buy. We ate, drank and sang and made some new friends along the way. Lawrence is a great host and I am looking forward to more classes with him. This is a great event for the price
