What You’ll Do

Learn the basic art and fundamental skills of bringing deliciously authentic Italian cuisine to life.

In this hands-on class, Chef Ruth provides you with an exciting introductory course to Italian cuisine. Chef Ruth will teach on the different regions of Italy as you work your way through an impressive three-course menu.

You will begin class by preparing creamy lasagna dip with fresh garlic crostini. Next up on the menu is a classic Italian pasta entrГ©e featuring spaghetti carbonara peppered with chicken. For dessert, you will learn the techniques needed to prepare a silky smooth buttermilk riesling panna cotta.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Kenyan native Chef Ruth is a seasoned chef trained in 20 different cuisines with nearly 20 years of experience in the culinary arts and hospitality industry. After attending culinary school, Chef Ruth landed roles at prestigious places such as Microsoft, as well as with famous chefs. Her true passion is teaching others, so she launched her own company where she focuses most of her efforts on private cooking classes.

Chef Ruth did an amazing job of making us and everyone feel welcome and a part of the experience. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun! We had an amazing group which made it very fun too. On top of it all the food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Chef Ruth to anyone that would like to learn how to cook a meal and have a fun doing it!
