Cooking Class - Belgian Night Out

Enjoy the richness and warmth of a Belgian night out with the talented Chef Meg.
Raised in Europe, Chef Meg spent several years living in Belgium where she was first exposed to the beauty of Belgian cuisine. In this hands-on class, she shares her love of Belgian cuisine by guiding you through the creation of a three-course Belgian menu.
You will be treated to a lesson in fresh butter making, be shown how to make fresh steamed mussels in a white wine broth complete with hand-cut French fries. Afterwards, you will make decadent Belgian waffles with Godiva chocolate, freshly whipped cream, and strawberries.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Crusty French Bread
With homemade sweet cream butter
Steamed Mussels
With hand-cut French fries and lemon aioli, and sautéed haricots verts

Meet your chef
Holding one diploma from The International Culinary Center with a focus on French techniques, and another from Roger Williams University in French and Italian studies, Chef Meg knows her way around the kitchen. She has experience in numerous kitchens, including Colicchio & Sons, and has shown an aptitude for creating everything from rustic breads at a ranch to petite-fours in an upscale eatery.
