WHAT YOU’LL DO

Explore Japanese flavors together in this hands-on date night cooking class.
Skip the usual dinner plans and spend date night creating a Japanese-inspired tasting menu together in this hands-on cooking class. Start by crafting a salmon crunch roll while practicing sushi rolling techniques. Next, prepare chicken yakitori finished with a yuzu and orange glaze before frying vegetable tempura until crisp and serving it with dashi dipping sauce. Along the way, you’ll build useful skills for rolling, grilling and frying while exploring a variety of Japanese flavors. It’s an interactive way to cook, learn and enjoy a memorable meal together.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 18+.

Booked the class Authentic Ramen Workshop with Chef Charlie in Scottsdale (Paradise Valley Village)

This class was a gift to my wife as we just celebrated out 35th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the class. The steps were easy to follow, and the food was delicious. We now can bring some fun Ramen making back to our family of 4 kids, who absolutely love Ramen. The downside was the size of the class. It was a bit crowded at the tables, and it felt like instructing that many people got a bit chaotic. Other than that, my wife and I had a fun time.
