WHAT YOU’LL DO

Practice classic French methods while creating rustic bistro-inspired dishes.
Warm up with a menu of French comfort food in this cooking class in Milwaukee. With help from Chef Chef Amanda or one of the talented resident chefs, you’ll prepare a traditional chicken and sausage cassoulet, roasted broccoli with garlic and lemon and a fresh green salad. For dessert, you’ll poach pears in white wine and pair them with homemade vanilla bean crème anglaise. This cozy cooking experience in Milwaukee is perfect for anyone craving classic flavors and slow-cooked goodness.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Booked the class Thai Cuisine with Chef Amanda in Milwaukee

We cooked several things: pad thai, lemongrass infused jasmine rice, crispy thai shrimp with chili sauce and Pumpkin Curry soup. Easy to follow, got to engage in parts of cooking. It was a full class of 16 people. We were at tables of 4 and enjoyed working with the other 2 people at our table. The food was delicious and would make this for my monthly dinners with friends.

We enjoyed this class very much. It was less hands-on than we expected, but I understand now that 2 hours isn't enough time to make all three doughs, let them rise, and still bake them. Chef Sarah did demo the process though, so we got a chance to see yeast being bloomed and mixed in. We are definitely planning to check out more of these classes. Thank you!
