WHAT YOU’LL DO

Prepare authentic Mexican favorites in this family cooking class.
Bring your whole family into the kitchen in this hands-on cooking class in Houston. Work together to make marinated steak tacos with roasted tomatillo salsa, press and cook handmade tortillas and sauté corn with lime butter. Finish with tres leches cake topped with fresh fruit and cream. Chef Jaken or a resident chef will guide each step in a fun, approachable way. This cooking class in Houston is perfect for families who enjoy cooking, learning and sharing a homemade meal together.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 7+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

My husband and I enjoyed the evening. The chef made it a fun experience as he was upbeat and friendly. The food was delicious yet I am wondering why the dessert didn’t look like the one pictured on the web page.

Chef Lonnie was fun and informative! It was a lot of fun to get hands-on with the sushi to make veggie hand rolls, cucumber rolls, and tuna rolls. I think a little more structure to get the class's attention would have been helpful, since there was a lot of talking and missed attention at times, requiring Chef to shout over the room. But all in all, a great experience!
