What You'll Do

Learn how to cook with both direct and indirect heat.

Build your confidence with high-heat cooking in this hands-on cooking class in Cincinnati. Practice grilling radicchio for a smoky salad with beets and oranges, pan-searing strip steak with shallot and herb compound butter and braising leeks topped with a poached egg and tarragon mustard vinaigrette. Finish the session with homemade cinnamon ice cream. Chef Kate or a resident chef will guide you through each technique. This cooking class in Cincinnati is ideal for anyone who wants to understand heat control and improve everyday cooking skills.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Kate brings a sense of artistry to her culinary endeavors. She was a Corporate Training Chef before trying her hand at catering and concessions. Having worked in eateries ranging from food trucks to large-scale food production lines, she finally indulged her passion for teaching others. Students fortunate enough to learn from Chef Kate and her exceptional team come away with a new appreciation for the joy of food.
