Join Chef Jackson or one of the talented resident chefs in Lake Grove (New York) for a French countryside cooking class filled with comfort and tradition. Begin with chicken chasseur cooked in a hearty hunter’s sauce, then prepare pommes persillade for a flavorful potato side. Add a crisp salade verte tossed with tarragon-Dijon vinaigrette and finish with mille-feuille, a dessert of buttery pastry and smooth cream. This cooking class in Lake Grove (New York) celebrates the simplicity and charm of French home cooking. Whether you’re looking for a date night, a foodie outing or a solo experience, you’ll leave inspired and well-fed.

Booked Signature Hibachi Experience with Chef Jackson in Long Island (Lake Grove)

We attended the cooking class for Teryaki Chicken, Salad, Gyoza, drink, and dessert. We had a resident chef, who was very nice, though it was obvious that it was not his specialty. I don't want to insult him; he was a good teacher and very informative. The food was good, though the pacing of the meal could have been better. We didn't eat until around 9 pm. We could have eaten the salad while the other food was cooking. Another issue we had was the 10-minute break in the middle of the class. Why? Just to wander the store to buy items? We didn't love that. We were also surprised that there were no chairs/stools, so we had to stand the entire time, including when we ate. We've been to other cooking classes, and there have always been seats while we eat. Overall, it was a fine class, though not sure we'll do it again.
