Celebrate bonding in this hands-on Thai family adventure!

Explore the bright flavors of Thailand together in this family-friendly cooking class in Raleigh. Youâ€™ll start with grilled chicken satay paired with creamy peanut sauce, then learn the secrets to making a perfect pad Thai filled with noodles, vegetables and tangy sauce. For dessert, Chef Megan or one of the talented resident chefs will show you how to prepare mango sticky rice, a sweet classic that kids and adults love. This cooking class in Raleigh is beginner-friendly and hands-on, making it the perfect outing for families who want to cook, learn and laugh together.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 7+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

My two teenage sons and I attended the Macaron class, and we had a wonderful time! The chef was kind, helpful, and knowledgable! I would definitely go back again!!!

Very well run class, it was fun and I liked how chef threw in all kind of cooking tips while we were cooking. Thank you for all you and your staff did to make it happen. I would suggest that you add more time to the class or remove one of the dishes from the menu, it was too much too rushed. Thank you for the recipes too. I signed us up for another class this spring ..

My husband and I wanted to do a cooking class for our 10th anniversary. We love sushi so when I saw Sur la table offered one we were so excited. We took a pasta making class together in Italy and I took a baking class back in NY. We were hoping for the same experience but it didnâ€™t even come close. The â€œChefâ€ was at another table with our backs to him, he was confused about what we were making, he left us to try and figure it out on our own and only as a last option did he come over to help. He seemed more interested in the sales pitch to take more classes and shop than teaching us how to make sushi. Our class only had 4 people because 2 people didnâ€™t show up, so you would think we would have gotten more one on one teaching. Wrong. He was more concerned about the class coming in after us. We ran out of tuna but he had all the tuna at his station that he made plus what the 2 people that didnâ€™t show up would have used but he didnâ€™t want to let us use any of it saying this is for the next classâ€¦ He never showed us how to make the traditional sushi roll with the rice on the outside he just talked about it. We never received the email that had the recipes and directions either. When we booked this they talked about a chef with over 20 years experience. We got a kid who â€œhas worked in restaurants and went to culinary school and has been teaching classes for a year.â€
