WHAT YOU’LL DO
Delight your child with an experience that allows them to explore Italian dining.
Your youngster will learn to create authentic breads from Tuscany with high-quality ingredients while also discovering a staple food that is a large part of Tuscan tradition. Chef Marty’s passion for cooking was instilled in childhood when she had the opportunity to learn the craft of cuisine from her grandmothers in Italy. Since then, she has been dedicated to passing along her love of cooking in a class setting that is inspiring, fun and interactive.
The class begins by delving into the process of baking a delectable pane di Campagna, followed by learning to prepare a delicious pizza bianca. Last but not least, your child will create a mouthwatering pane rustico with olives.
Kids need to be accompanied by an adult for this class; adults required to purchase tickets in addition to kids.

My granddaughter, my son and I took Chef Marty’s Tuscan bread class as gift for my 10 year old grand daughter’s birthday. We had a wonderful time learning about Italy from Chef Marty’s extensive experience and obvious love for Italy. We made bread the following week from the recipe and technique we learned, and I have made bread back in NH, based on her lovely way of teaching. We shared a lovely lunch (with our freshly baked schecchetta- not sure about the spelling). Highly recommend Chef Marty-would love to take the pasta class.

Thank you Chef Marty! My family enjoyed spending time with you and your lovely kitchen and garden. Chef Marty hosted 5 of us in her home and walked us through baking three different types of bread - sweet, savory, and plain. They were all based on the same recipe, so we got good a feeling for the ingredients and adaptability of bread baking. We baked 5 loaves total, and were able to bring home some of each to share.

She was nice but the experience was not a hands on and was overpriced. It was a kids cooking yet there were four adults and one child. We could have watched a cooking class and have gotten the recipes. Like I said she was nice but not worth the cost.

Great! Exceeded my expectations. Chef Marty provides a charismatic experience that helps you understand not only how to cook like a chef, but I would argue, she teaches you how to think like a chef, paying attention to so many details I would normally overlook. Her approach is holistic, paying attention to timing, color, texture, aroma, even ambient humidity! And so much more that I learned last night, I can't list them all here. So many things go into what you see on the plate, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher to help me appreciate the art of cooking. High recommendations from Zen. Thanks again Marty. I'll have to bust out my fresh pasta making skills for friends and family one of these days.
