Meet your chef
I grew up in the Canary Islands where my Mother taught me recipes from her ancestors. Years later I was stationed at a base that hosted a monthly Paella party. One day the Colonel told me, “You’d better learn how to make paella, because the private who cooks them is leaving and you’ll be in charge.†I perfected my craft on and off the base over the next few years. Since returning to civilian life in 1989, I have cooked paellas all over the world, for friends, family and clients.
