Join this cooking class to discover the secrets to classic British recipes. Led by an esteemed chef, you'll learn how to fill and layer a Victoria sponge cake with cream and strawberry jam. Next is a pudding cake with sweet layers of toffee sauce. Take it to the savory side with a steak and ale pie topped with buttery pastry dough.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Jennifer has been passionate about cooking since crafting her own meatloaf recipe at age eight. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Louisville and spent her early career as a visual merchandise manager and scenic artist. After raising three daughters, Chef Jennifer honed her skills further at The Columbus Culinary Institute, earning an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. For the past decade, she has worked as a personal chef, media food stylist and chef instructor.

Chicken tenders, Mac and cheese and banana splits!!!! It was fun AND educational!! My only disappointment is that we couldn’t take our leftovers home. It was a great experience for my granddaughter and me!!!

We rolled, cut, and baked chocolate cookies. We also learned to make and use royal icing on those cookies as well as sugar cookies. Was a very informative and fun class. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone and everyone. Even the kids had a great time. I hope to be able to book other classes in the future. Thank you for a great experience.
