Cooking Class - Ramen 4-Ways

What You’ll Do

Discover the art of ramen with a Japanese chef.

Ramen has come a long way from being a dorm-room staple, and Japanese Chef Mari will give you the tools you’ll need to make restaurant-quality ramen.

This class covers a comprehensive lesson on ramen fundamentals. Start with making a kaeshi base, then learn about the four different nuanced flavors of broth including Miso, Shoyu, Tonkotsu and Tantan-men. Chef Mari will go over the 3-day process of how to prepare chasu pork and delectable soy sauce marinated eggs. Then roll up your sleeves and prepare to make noodles from scratch and create your own original ramen. This hands-on class concludes with a feast in which you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
