Young chefs learn all about the global inspiration behind popular dishes in this cooking series.
Bringing global flavors to the table inspires innovation and creativity, and this cooking series empowers young chefs to do just that! Kids ages 7-11 join a professional chef for five days of summer cooking classes. They'll steam soft and aromatic pork buns, knead and shape pasta dough, bake German schnitzel and learn about many other global dishes. Food prep, food handling and kitchen safety are covered in every class. At the end of the week, participants receive recipes and a certificate of completion.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

The class was way over crowded. There was no seating at all. The class was alright for absolute beginners in the kitchen, but I don't feel like I got my money's worth.

I got my wife and daughter the macaroon class for Mother's day. They both have not stopped talking about how great it was and that they want to do more classes. The wife was adament that I join her as well. Be prepared husbands, if you do this you WILL be buying more classes for her.
