A 5-day adventure that takes young chefs into the heart of international cuisine.
With this exciting 5-day cooking series designed for young cooks ages 7 to 11, every session is an exploration of a new country's cuisine, filled with global flavor they'll love discovering! Your little gourmets can indulge in an extended session of summer cooking classes that teach them kitchen safety and food prep while introducing them to delicious regions around the world. With guidance from an expert instructor, they'll create specialties celebrating Italy, Greece, Germany, China and Mexico. Participants receive printed menus of their fare and diplomas at week's end!
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

The class was informative &’ I cannot wait to cook the recipe myself at home. The only thing I would change would be the large amount of other students in the class. It felt a bit rushed through. I was hoping for a bit more teacher/student learning experience, especially with all of the chopping that was needed. I am looking forward to taking more cooking classes, but I am not sure I’ll visit this place again.
Meet your chef
Chef Michael emigrated to the U.S. from Romania with his family at the age of seven. He followed his family's culinary interests and found joy in the kitchen, with his grandmother and his parents leading the way. After working in various restaurants through high school and beyond, he developed a taste for finer cuisine. His resume grew to include event catering as well as teaching cooking classes, for which Chef Michael holds an abiding passion.
