Cooking Class - 4-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Baking Celebration

What You’ll Do

Four fun days for budding chefs to discover the delicious magic of home baking.

With this exciting cooking series on the calendar, your young cooks ages 7 to 11 can experience the thrill of creating their own baked dishes with step-by-step instructions from expert chefs. In a selection of summer cooking classes conducted over four days, students will get hands-on experience with kneading dough, flipping their own crepes, decorating cakes they've baked themselves and more. In addition to baking and measuring techniques and basic kitchen safety, they'll receive a printed menu of their work and a graduation certificate to cap off their sessions.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

The resident chef was informative, enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and fun!! My complaints are that it was very expensive and the food was cold when we ate it. The food was fun to make and we learned a lot.

Fun class! Wished we could have brought wine or had some soft music playing in the background but it was a fun class!

The meal was okay. Our burner didn’t work well so our stake didn’t sear. The marketing said there would be coffee, water and tea. There was little cups of water that are given at a doctors office which isn’t appropriate when one pays $100 per person. Also—14 people in such a small setting isn’t ideal either. The room is better for 4 couples so we all have sufficient space. I’m disappointed to say the least
