What You’ll Do

Craving an authentic steakhouse dinner? Learn how to make it from scratch!

During this cooking class with Chef Misun, you’ll master the art of steakhouse cuisine. You’ll prepare and savor a multi-course masterpiece centered around a succulent steak.

Start by making a fresh shrimp cocktail with a whisky sauce made with hot sauce and horseradish. Then, you’ll learn how to perfectly sear a beef tenderloin steak and pair it with a rich mushroom Cognac sauce. For the side dishes, you’ll make creamy mashed potatoes and French green beans. For dessert, elevate the traditional crème brûlée by adding bittersweet chocolate.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The class with Chef Misun was amazing!!!! She was very nice and friendly and super knowledgeable. The experience was great and the food was absolutely amazing and delicious!!!!!

We had a fantastic evening with Chef Misun. She arrived on time and was fully prepared and extremely efficient at her craft. She is very knowledgeable and was constantly explaining the various steps of the cooking process. She asked us if we wanted to be hands-on or not - we preferred to watch, so she narrated the cooking process as we watched. She kept cleaning as she cooked and left our kitchen immaculate and spotless. The meal was amazing - we were blown away by the flavors in every course - the shrimp, the steak, the dessert. Chef Misun is very chatty - as we talked about her favorite restaurants in the neighborhood, we learnt that one of our favorite Japanese curry places is owned by her brother! We highly recommend Chef Misun for a cooking class or even a private dining session. Five stars!

We really enjoyed our meal and the company of Chef Misun. She was very friendly, professional, and thorough. She was very well prepared with all of the ingredients. SUPER CLEAN -- Chef Misun cleaned as she was cooking AND after the meal was complete she cleaned her work areas as well as the stove. We left this experience wanting more time with Chef Misun and are looking forward to booking another class with her. I would give Chef Misun and the meal 5/5 stars. However, we only have the overall experience 4 stars because we were under the impression that since this was a cooking class, we would have the opportunity to do some of the prep and cooking.
