What You’ll Do

Learn to make an elegant interpretation of a distinctly American spread with Chef Amanda's help.

In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn how to utilize warm, homey ingredients to create classic American flavors. Chef Amanda will walk you through an eclectic, unique menu featuring dishes from around the country.

Begin the class by cooking pieces of toast and topping them with blood orange and golden beets. Then, whip up a delightfully complex farro and snap pea salad to pair with your chimichurri salmon, cooked with garlic and an assortment of herbs. For dessert, bake an all-American apple galette and cover it in vanilla whipped cream and salted caramel.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

While she’s knowledgable in American, French and Italian cuisine, her speciality is pastry. She even helped create the Dalai Llama’s birthday cake! Chef Amanda is eager to help you master your kitchen skills and teach you to bake like a true professional.

This was so much fun as a date night with my wife. Chef Amanda was truly engaging and was extremely organized. We really enjoyed her showing us not only how to prepare these dishes, but educated us on the different techniques. I'd highly recommend Chef Amanda! My wife and I will definitely do another class with her.
