WHAT YOU’LL DO
Learn how to wrap, roll and slice sushi in this vegetarian cooking class.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Albert, you'll learn how to craft vegetarian sushi from scratch. As you prepare each dish, you'll practice knife skills and learn professional techniques for sushi making.
Begin by rolling spring rolls filled with fresh vegetables and seafood. Next, you'll handcraft two sushi rolls: A vegetarian dragon roll topped with special eel sauce, and a cucumber and avocado roll with sesame seeds. Finally, Chef Albert will teach you how to make a sweet-and-salty mango roll topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds.
This sushi-making class will be held inside the Price Chopper supermarket.

Chef Albert taught me how to make a dragon and california sushi rolls. He was very precise on how he rolled the sushi using the bamboo device which shaped the sushi perfectly. He also taught me how to cut the roll. He was very passionate about sushi as he owns his own restaurant. The presentation of the final result was a very important step as well. He topped the sushi with a homemade eel sauce and sesame seeds. It looks delicious!
