Celebrate the spirit of Southern American cuisine with a lesson in New Orleans classics.

Chef Shelley gets the good times rolling in this hands-on cooking class centered around the timeless creations of Bourbon Street. It's a lesson in traditional cooking that highlights the distinctive culinary character of the American South!

Authentic hush puppies are first on the menu; this unique version is made with sweet blue crab and fiery Cajun spices. Then, it's on to jambalaya prepared with rice, fresh coastal shrimp, sausage and chicken stewed in a spicy tomato broth. Finish on a sweet note with a white chocolate bread pudding served with warm rum sauce.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Treated my mom to this class as a Christmas gift. Chef Shelley was a lot of fun, had some stories to tell and we learned a lot about cooking techniques. Most importantly, the food was incredible and we enjoyed meeting the awesome other people in our group. Highly recommend this experience!

This experience was SO FUN!!! My daughter loves cooking and I took her to a class before she returns to college in 2 weeks. We both learned more than we expected, and really enjoyed Chef Shelley’s personality and teaching style. I’ll be signing up for another class before the month ends… I can’t wait to bring my friends!
