What You’ll Do

Join Chef Vivian and Michi and get ready to master hand-rolled sushi techniques and more.

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Vivian and Michi, you will learn how to make homemade, hand-rolled sushi and more, including a classic Japanese soup and a modern dessert.

After beginning with tofu miso soup, Chef Vivian and Michi will teach you how to prepare temaki filled with cucumber, avocado, carrots and mushrooms, and rolled into a cone shape. You'll also craft an Alaskan roll featuring smoked salmon and cream cheese. End your sushi-focused meal on a sweet note with Japanese double-baked sweet potatoes.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was such a wonderful experience. Chef Vivian and Michi are such a wonderful couple with a life time of great stories. The food my girlfriend and I learned how to make was delicious and filling. We still talk about how great of an experience it was. Chef Vivian and Michi were great teachers, because of them we feel comfortable making these dishes on our own. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a great experience you’ll never forget.

Chef Vivian and Michi were delightful as chefs and did the utmost to make our experience superb. Not only did they help us create an excellent meal, but they were warm and so much fun to be around as well. Would definitely recommend this class!

Vivian and Michi are so much fun! This class was truly spectacular. We wanted them to hang out with us all night! We made sushi two times after this class. Please take it because you won't regret it.
