Cooking Class - Classic Italian Pasta Making

What You’ll Do

Learn culinary tips and tricks to making from-scratch pasta right at home.

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Facundo, you will learn how to prepare a traditional Italian dinner menu showcasing two styles of pasta and two different Italian sauces.

Chef Facundo will begin by teaching you how to make a classic egg pasta dough from scratch and then how to shape it into two different styles of pasta of your choice. You'll also learn two traditional Italian sauces — classic tomato and cacio e pepe — before ending on a sweet note with an Italian-style flourless chocolate cake for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Facundo began his culinary career in Argentina, studying and working in well-known restaurants in Buenos Aires. After spending two summers working in Uruguay, Chef Facundo came to the U.S. and began working in fine dining restaurants in San Francisco before landing in New York City. He worked as an executive chef in Brooklyn for five years and also competed on "Chopped" season 46.

Chef Facundo is so much fun to work with! He is super knowledgeable about food and he gives great explanations about the ingredients and methods he uses. He is a blast to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone in Miami!
