What You’ll Do

Get ready for a culinary journey to Chef Olivier's hometown in the south of France.

In this hands-on class with Chef Olivier, you will learn how to prepare an authentic three-course French menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored ProvenГ§al recipes and cooking techniques.

Chef Olivier will begin by transporting your taste buds to the Port of Marseille with Provençal-style mussels. Then, you will head to Lagarrigue — the typical woodland of Provence where lamb pasture — for braised lamb shank with rosemary. You can also look forward to stopping by Chef Olivier's hometown — Avignon — for baked ratatouille before ending on a sweet note with a flan au caramel for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My boyfriend and I went to Chef Olivier’s braised short rib class. We both agreed we would both rather do this than go out to dinner. From the menu to the meal, Chef Olivier was attentive and highly skilled. All three courses were mouth watering and his entertainment skills made the date even better. Would recommend to anyone of all ages. Thanks again Chef!

Great chef and teacher. He gave a lot of helpful kitchen tips as well as teaching the recipes.
