Cooking Class - Traditional Provençal French Fare

What You’ll Do

Get ready for a culinary journey to Chef Olivier's hometown in the south of France.

In this hands-on class with Chef Olivier, you will learn how to prepare an authentic three-course French menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored Provençal recipes and cooking techniques.

Chef Olivier will begin by transporting your taste buds to the Port of Marseille with Provençal-style mussels. Then, you will head to Lagarrigue — the typical woodland of Provence where lamb pasture — for braised lamb shank with rosemary. You can also look forward to stopping by Chef Olivier's hometown — Avignon — for baked ratatouille before ending on a sweet note with a flan au caramel for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a wonderful night with Chef Olivier. The food was incredible, Olivier was highly personable, and I feel as though I learned a lot. His newly remodeled kitchen is also the stuff home design dreams are made of. Highly recommend!
