This class was so much fun! Chef Tierney did a great job, it felt like cooking with a friend. The food was all delicious and she did a fantastic job of answering all of my questions. If you are interested in creating a few upscale dishes with a fun twist I definitely recommend this class!

Chef Tierney took us on a culinary adventure. I had a blast and learned a number of cooking methods and techniques from basic to advanced. Chef T was fun, engaging, a very good teacher, and the food was delicious! Through each course we learned the methods to produce restaurant level dishes, including basic (but critical) techniques like how to properly dice an onion and chop garlic, zest and juice lemons, seasoning and cooking meat, all the up to advanced moves like making caviar and mozzarella balloons. I didn't know mozzarella balloons existed! For anyone trying to learn to cook, having someone like Chef T to available for instruction, to ask advice, and get insights on the technical side of food preparation (I'd always had trouble with onions, personally) will dramatically improve your skill and cooking ability overnight. Each course was unique and interesting, and chef gave us all a part to play in their creation. My group and I had an amazing experience. 10/10 would do again!

Something as intricate as molecular gastronomy seemed like the kind of thing you needed to study for years before being able to practice, but Tierney made the process and the end result attainable and aesthetic! Our class went a little over time because everyone was having so much fun learning and relearning the skills, but Tierney was cool with it- we can't wait to take her other courses!
