Cooking Class - Vegan Mexican Cuisine

What You’ll Do

Discover an authentic menu of vegan Mexican cuisine inspired by the street food of Puebla.

In this hands-on class with Chef Corey, you will learn how to prepare an impressive spread of vegan Mexican fare completely from scratch using authentic Mexican ingredients and time-honored cooking techniques.

Chef Corey will begin by teaching you how to make pico de gallo, two types of salsa and hand-pressed corn tortillas. Then, you will move onto preparing several dishes, including cast iron chalupas, chicken of the woods flautas with homemade vegan queso fresco, traditional Mexican street churros and a refreshing agua fresca with hibiscus, strawberries, cucumber and more.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I definitely recommend attending a class with Chef Corey whether or not you follow a vegan diet. His menu was absolutely delicious and he also made it a delightful evening teaching us various cooking techniques. I look forward to taking another class with him soon.
