Cooking Class - Introduction to Japanese Cuisine

What You’ll Do

Explore the ancient and beautiful food traditions of Japan with Chef Diana.

With a focus on the interaction between colors, shapes and flavors, Japanese cuisine is as beautiful as it is delicious. Japanese cuisine offers a variety in its courses, including broth soups, fresh or pickled vegetables, and grilled meats and seafood.

The four-course class begins with miso soup and spinach salad with radishes, tofu and sesame dressing. Chef Diana will teach you how to make crispy shrimp tempura from scratch, along with the popular dish, yakitori, grilled chicken and vegetable skewers. Sweet bean paste mochi rounds out and ends your Japanese journey.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Diana gave me a wonderful experience. She warmly greeted me at the door when I arrived. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I even learned a bit of history about paella. I highly recommend her.
