Discover the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean with Chef Liza.

Caribbean food has something to offer every palate. It perfectly balances sweet, savory, sour and spicy — and sometimes all at once! In this three-course class with Chef Liza, you will learn how to make Caribbean-inspired fare completely from scratch that will leave you dreaming of tropical island life.

Begin with meat pie dumplings filled with savory beef and peas before moving onto a classic Caribbean dish: jerk skirt steak. For dessert, discover how to prepare an island-style brioche bread pudding infused with spiced rum and ginger.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Liza also loves spending time volunteering and sharing her passion for cooking with others.

Chef Liza is personable and has some great dishes to offer. Her home was cozy and could fit about 5-7 people to work and dine. My favorite dish was the lamb curry, which was packed with flavor and served with seasoned naan bread. I'll be making this dish and the others in the future no doubt. Thank you for hosting, Liza!
