What You’ll Do

Learn how to prepare a handful of authentic Cajun classics with New Orleanian Chef L.

In this hands-on class with Chef L, you will learn how to prepare three different types of po boys and other authentic Cajun classics that will transport your taste buds to Louisiana.

After whipping up a batch of sweet potato fries, you'll assemble three different po boys filled with blackened redfish, blackened shrimp, or fried oysters piled high with all the fixings and sandwiched between a remoulade-slathered French bread with a crispy crust, and soft, airy interior. Lastly, you'll end with a peach cobbler tart abuzz with Hennessy for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef L presented Louisiana comfort food that came straight from the soul. Her food, much like her personality warms you. Chef L infused modern flair into a traditional gumbo, red beans and rice, and a perfectly rich banana's foster. The flavors were complex and fresh, and I would recommend Chef L to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Cajun cuisine experience.
