Cooking Class - Timeless Gnocchi Techniques

What You’ll Do

Discover a classic handmade Italian meal that will excite your palate and impress your guests.

In this hands-on class with Chef Andria, you will learn how to prepare a classic three-course Italian menu that showcases the timeless technique of authentic handmade gnocchi and more.

After starting with a simple radicchio salad, Chef Andria will teach you the technique to making gnocchi completely from scratch. Then, you will prepare a classic ragout made with wild boar for a rustic comfort dish that starts with deglazing the vegetables with prosecco. For dessert, you will end on a lighter note with a simple, luscious dark chocolate orange mousse.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Andria’s 20 years of experience in the culinary industry began with a spark of inspiration from her family’s garden. When she relocated to Austin in 2012, Chef Andria found herself in a city in the middle of a food industry boom. She was further inspired by Austin’s urban farms and launched her own salsa business, which has since grown into a highly successful catering company offering cooking classes and private chef services.

Chef Andria is super fun and sweet. I really enjoyed my time learning about her dishes as well as tasting them. She provides a lot of knowledge about her dishes and will help you achieve different cooking skills (from making handmade gnocchi, to grilling steak to perfection, to making the tastiest Peruvian ceviche!). I would definitely recommend her cooking class to anyone interested in making delicious food with a friendly chef.
