Cooking Class - Marvelous French Macarons in Houston

It was fantastic.  I booked this event as a surprise for my wife who has been attempting to make the Macarons and not achieving the results she was happy with.  We learned so much and really enjoyed how helpful Chef Stephanie was.  She made leaning fun and gave us many pro tips we can use going forward.  I scored many points with my wife, and we look forward to taking another class soon.  Maybe how to make croissants?! 

In the macaron lesson, Chef Stephanie patiently and enthusiastically led us through each step. She shared her love of French pastries and offered very helpful advice that simplified hard tasks. Our macarons under her instruction were delicious and professional-looking. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I had a great time with Chef Stephanie making macaron. She was very organized and had everything prepared for our class. She gave us lots of tricks and tips and our result was beautiful and delicious! I would definitely take another class with her!

My wife is a great home baker, but she's always been a little gunshy when it comes to macarons. I took her to Chef Stephanie's kitchen (we booked together so I could learn a little too!), and had a terrific time. Chef is an excellent teacher - explanations were clear and organized, and full of smart "hacks" that resonated both with my wife, an experienced baker, and with me, a novice. We enjoyed hearing about her French upbringing and her professional journey as much as we enjoyed tasting our macarons at the end of the session. And my wife is looking forward to replicating her experience at home! Thanks!

Great class

Me and my father went to learn how to make macaroons and it was a amazing experience. Mrs. Stephanie gave lots tips and tricks on how to master the piping, and how long it would need to be cooked for. She also showed us how to make truffles with the remainder of the gnash. The macaroons where amazing and perfect. They tasted as if I was lifted into the air and resting on clouds. I loved every second of it.

Loved the class! Chef Stephanie was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned lots of macaroon secrets that I’ll definitely be using in the future. She was also very flexible with our scheduling issue.

Chef Stephanie was amazing! I learned so much. My one issue was the course description. It said it was a hands on cooking class and while we were able to pipe the macarons onto the pan and pipe the fillings, we didn’t actually create the batter or ganaches which was what I really wanted to do first hand.

Took the Macaroon class as a family outing with our 9 year old daughter. Chef Stephanie made this difficult dessert as easy as possible. She answered all of our questions and was able to show us techniques on getting the proper textures and consistency to prevent certain issues macaroons present. It was very enjoyable, will use her again, and would highly recommend Chef Stephanie for all ages and little aspiring chefs.
