What You’ll Do

Discover a menu of vegetarian fusion fare inspired by Spanish, Asian, Southern, and Latin cuisines.

In this hands-on class with Chef Lenny, you will learn how to prepare a four-course vegetarian menu that artfully blends the ingredients and cooking techniques of Spanish, Asian, Southern, and Latin cuisines.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to adding to your repertoire in this class include perfectly cooked black eyed pea cauliflower cakes jazzed up with homemade tomatillo chutney, a Japanese hot pot brimming with vibrant flavors and handcrafted beet dumplings, corn empanadas bursting at the seams with cheesy potato goodness, and Spanish-style French toast for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

In addition to working in catering and high-end restaurants in New York City, Chef Lenny’s love of food and community has led him to volunteer with nonprofit organizations by teaching cooking classes to people from all walks of life, including domestic violence victims and those in low-income communities.
