Cooking Class - Classic Tuscan Farm Fare

What You’ll Do

Discover how traditional Tuscan farm fare harmonizes the two inseparable principles of simplicity and quality.

In this hands-on class with Chef Paolo, you will learn how to prepare a four-course menu of classic Tuscan farm fare drawing on peasant traditions that create a meal so impressive it wouldn’t be out of place in a fine dining restaurant.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to adding to your repertoire in this class include a deeply flavorful roasted wild mushroom risotto studded with fresh sage and an Italian-style T-bone steak known as bistecca fiorentina that epitomizes the rustic simplicity of classic Tuscan farm fare.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was an amazing time with Chef Paolo. Beyond the food being incredible, he made the evening even more memorable with his conversation, hands on approach and knowledge. We had a great time and will definitely do again.

I have experienced several cooking classes and Paolo's session was by far the most enjoyable. He was organized and prepared. He appropriately engaged with us and made small talk while also tending to business. He gauged which of us were experienced cooks, and which of us were culinary novices, and tailored his instructions appropriately. Most importantly the food he prepared, with our assistance, was delicious!
