In this hands-on class with Chef Shailini, you will learn how to create a menu of Mediterranean dishes that are simple to prepare but produce an end result that is truly impressive and sophisticated.
Some of the recipes you can look forward to learning on Chef Shailini's six-course Mediterranean-inspired menu include a caramelized shallot and goat cheese puff pastry tart and a sultry, lemon-laced salmon you will learn how to oven bake to perfection. Also on the menu is a colorful orzo pasta salad, and an elegant fruity and nutty parfait for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Shailini was born in Nepal, and with her father being a well-known diplomat, the family lived all over the world. A life long educator, Chef Shailini taught at both Boston University and Northeastern University earlier in her career, and while she enjoyed that a great deal, she is currently living her true passion at several well-known Boston institutions teaching people how to cook food that is both nutritious and delicious. Chef Shailini also does a great deal of volunteer work.
