Cooking Class - Seafood Paella Secrets

Mario is a very proud and fun Spaniard, yet born and raised in Paris. Family man he is, he learned to cook the Valencian paella to perfection; we have never experienced anything like it, the knowledge, flavors, simplicity and relaxed air with which he cooks are just pure elegance. Amazing meal and such fun conversation. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Chef Mario was a fantastic host. He clearly loves to cook and that showed in his preparation of the Paella. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. I would whole heartily recommend this experience with Chef Mario

I purchased this experience for my husband who loves cooking and trying new foods. Besides being an extremely picky eater, eating has always just been a task I need to do for substinance and the faster I could do it the better so I can do other things. I've never understood when people made a fuss over food. Mario had his worked cut out for him with getting me to eat much of anything. My husband loving everything was expected but Mario's meal literally changed my mind about food. Homemade Sangria and Valencia Olives started our fantastic adventure with Chef Mario as we began the main meal. We have never had Gazpacho before and I was a bit hesitant about eating cold soup but this was one of the most delicious things I have ever had and with Chef Mario's teaching and culinary skills, I could taste and identify everything that was added. We had to stop eating it all because we knew we would be too full for anything else if we finished. Beginning the Paella Valenciana as the main entree', Chef Mario had great stories of the food in Valencia along with great tips in cooking. We could smell each ingredient as it was added while Chef Mario explained what every ingredient is used for. After the Gazpacho, I was already looking forward to the Paella. Something I never would imagine myself saying about any meal. We had to take home more than 1/2 of the amount of Paella Valenciana because we were just so full. Finally beginning the homemade Churros con Chocolate, was something we've never had either. We made the Churros and the Chocolate served in coffee mugs like hot chocolate would be. Though bursting at the seams, we had to have a bite or two and it was spectacular! I imagined us making this unique dessert experience for friends and family. Finally, Chef Mario gave all all little to-go packages for the remaining food and it remained in our refrigerator for 1 day before it was all gone. The CozyMeal experience itself was already a 10. Chef Mario made it a 20. We would definitely recommend Chef Mario to anyone looking for a great authentic Valencian meal made by a superb chef!

Chef Mario was amazing!! The food was incredible and of true genuine Spanish tradition style cooking! The environment formed for learning how to cook his ingredients is spectacular! Chef Mario is very very nice and very passionate about cooking!

Chef Mario is an amazing person full of energy and surprises. Full of details, ingredients and tips from his Country. He knows his stuff and enjoys prepearing the best paella in town. I am very happy to have met him.
