What You’ll Do

Discover three different ways to utilize the succulent, tender meat of braised beef short ribs.

In this hands-on class with Chef Cindy and David, you will learn how to make meltingly tender, falling-off-the-bone short ribs and three different ways to enjoy them.

You will begin by learning how to properly braise short ribs that will always reward you with soft, tender hunks of rich meat on the bone. When your short ribs are ready, you will then learn three different ways to use the meat, including the traditional method served over a bed of deliciously creamy polenta, and a non-traditional method involving pot stickers.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

First off ..WOW what an amazing experience!!! We were not sure exactly what to expect, but to say Cindy and David exceeded our expectations frankly would be selling them short. They are amazing, patient teachers, and we learned a lot. My girlfriend being much more experienced in cooking than I even commented at how much she learned . After sipping wine and learning the ins and outs of what we were going to be undertaking , we dove right in and the meal turned out incredible. Frankly, the only disappointment I could say is that I have to go back home to cook myself and I know it won’t taste nearly as good! This was money well spent and we cannot wait to do this again!

Kris and I really enjoyed the hands on class. Chef Cindy and David were very thorough with instructions and helping us do most of the cooking. We enjoyed the pot sticker, hash with poached egg and of course the short ribs. We were so full we took the cookies home and enjoyed so much Kris made a batch on Monday evening. She has prepared the short ribs for a dinner this Friday night and we hope our frinds enjoy them as much as we did. This was a wonderful experience and recommend this class to anyone who loves short ribs.

Cooking with and learning from Cindy and David was an AMAZING experience! On top of being first-class cooks, they are super hosts who are a lot of fun to be with! The pizza class had us make four fantastic pies, all while chatting like we were with two old friends. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough - we’ll definitely be back for another class!
