Take a journey to Spain with an evening of tapas and paellas.
Lucky for us, tapas and paella have spread from Spain to the rest of the world. For this meal, Chef Douglas combines traditional Spanish style Tapas and Paellas with local California variations using fresh, organic ingredients. The atmosphere is casual. Everything is served family style and enjoyed in the kitchen, dining and living room area.
Chef Douglas invites guests to bring their own Spanish wine to enjoy with the meal.

Chef Douglas' selection of Tapas may include roasted potatoes with aioli, roasted vegetables (Escalivada), meatballs in tomato sauce, mussels, and a variety of vegetable toppings for toasted bread

I have over 30 years of professional restaurant and cooking experience, ranging from traditional French cuisine to organic vegetarian food. I had the good fortune to study with the founders of the French Laundry for ten years which helped create my philosophy about food. I believe food should be delicious, accessible, and straightforward to create. All my classes are designed to showcase a meal students can go home and create for a dinner party or for friends.
