Join Chef Angela-Michelle virtually as she shares authentic recipes from her travels to Cuba.

During this interactive online cooking and mixology combination class with Chef Angela-Michelle, you will embark on a culinary journey to Havana's Old Town and learn secret recipes for a handful of authentic Cuban recipes. Some of the dishes you can look forward to preparing include a classic grilled Cubano complete with homemade garlic mojo sauce as well as chorizo-stuffed potatoes. You will also learn how to concoct a refreshing Cuban mojito!

Prep Work Details

Before we embark on some culinary fun, we must first properly prepare to ensure a seamless and timely event. The items listed below must be completed PRIOR TO the class start time: 1. Have everything chopped, diced, sliced, minced, etc. 2. Have all ingredients measured out and ready to use. 3. Have all cooking tools and equipment out on your countertop or cooktop. 4. Have the potatoes cubed, cooked, cooled and in your food processor. 5. Have the chorizo cooked. 6. Have the mojo sauce made. 7. Have the meat (pork) in the marinade. 8. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Also note, the measurements listed on the recipes are specific to the time frame allotted for the event. Therefore, anyone attempting to double or triple the recipe won't be able to keep up with the flow of the cooking class.

Meet your chef


Growing up on a family farm with chefs for parents, Chef Angela-Michelle learned how to cook at the age of six and bake at the age of eight. Now, Chef Angela-Michelle has become certified in plant-based nutrition, has published several cookbooks, has traveled the world to hone her culinary craft, is the host of two TV cooking shows and is the founder and owner of her own successful cooking company that teaches others how to shop, cook, eat and live well.

We really enjoyed our class with Chef Angela-Michelle. She made sure we had everything ready and checked on our progress through out the cooking experience. She answered all our questions and gave good advice on all the recipes.

The Cubano Sandwich was awesome and Chef gave protein alternative suggestions too. The Papas Rellenas were so good, we will definitely be making them again soon. The pace of the class was good and Chef made sure everyone was keeping up - would recommend
