WHAT YOU’LL DO

Get ready for a sugar rush and learn how to make cupcakes that are unexpectedly polarizing.
In this hands-on class, Chef Taylor will teach you everything you need to make irresistible pieces of confectionery with a tender interior and creamy dollop of icing on top — otherwise known as cupcakes.

You will begin by learning how to make a vanilla cake from scratch, with easy modifications included so you can reap a variety of flavors from the same recipe. Then, you will learn how to make some of the best ever buttercream icing from scratch while focusing on consistency, flavor, and learning basic piping techniques using a pastry bag and icing tips.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Your Menu

Texas Margarita Cupcakes
With tequila simple syrup and salted tequila-infused buttercream icing
Very Berry Cupcakes
With strawberry compote filling and strawberry buttercream icing
Cream Pie Cupcake
With vanilla cake, homemade vanilla pudding and chocolate ganache icing
Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request as adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
