Cooking Class - Sweet and Savory Gluten Free Baking

What You’ll Do

Learn how to bake a wholesome three-course vegetarian dinner and dessert without the gluten.

Using fresh, seasonal, and non-GMO ingredients, Chef Stacy will help you take your baking skills to the next level in this gluten-free and vegetarian hands-on baking class.

Chef Stacy will begin by teaching you all about the various types of gluten-free flours, and how to convert recipes and substitute regular flour with gluten-free flour. Then, you will dive into the preparation of four different baked recipes beginning with a rosemary and garlic flatbread pizza, and ending with a simple and authentic Tarta de Santiago for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a great time with Chef Stacy! She was personable, flexible, and very adaptable to our unique dietary concerns and making the menu the best fit for our situation. Our meal was delicious, we had fun making it, learned some new things, and the experience was memorable. The kitchen was left spotless, and we would definitely take another class again. Very professional. Offered lots of great tips for substitutions and ways to change up each recipe. Great for beginners!

Chef Stacy was very engaging; she went slow enough to make following along easy but fast enough to keep things moving. I love that she gave tips along the way for personal modifications ( meats, spices,etc). Great class and highly recommended!
