What You’ll Do

Chef Sonia showcases a satisfying, healthy chicken dinner suitable for any event or weeknight dinner.

In this hands-on class, Chef Sonia guides you through her three-course menu filled with her passion for using the very best and freshest ingredients from local markets.

You will begin this class by handcrafting a gorgeously gourmet asparagus tart with a flaky crust. Then, you will prepare balsamic-marinated chicken thighs and hone your knife skills as you chop your fresh, organic herbs. For dessert, you will whip up a batch of impressive meringues that are soft and pillowy inside and encased with a satisfyingly crackly crust spread with strawberry coulis.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Sonia's culinary foray began with a catering business in Mexico, and she now is a gourmet chef instructor in Beverly Hills. Cooking has been her lifelong passion and she is continually taking culinary classes to expand her knowledge. Chef Sonia has attended the New School of Cooking in LA, has studied in Italy with a Michelin star chef, and received a diploma in French Pastry Bakery from Le Cordon Bleu.

Chef Sonia has a gorgeous home and a kitchen that is perfect for a cooking lesson. An equally impressive outdoor dining area beckons as well! She was very welcoming and used superb ingredients throughout the meal.
