What You’ll Do

See how well Californian and Italian cuisines play together on this fresh, delicious brunch menu.

In this hands-on class with Chef Rachelle, you will create a four-course brunch that brings together the freshness and flavor profiles from modern Californian and traditional Italian cuisines.

Begin with a California staple and honing the technique of perfectly poached eggs. Then, learn the proper way to mix and shake the pan for a perfectly cooked frittata. The salad dressing you'll learn involves knife skills and creating an emulsion for the vinaigrette. For the sweeter brunch elements, learn the skills to macerated fruit and the secret to perfect banana bread.

Chef Rachelle was great! We are a family of four with two kids under 10, and everyone had a blast (and enjoyed the food)!

I made a surprise for my husband and the rest of the family inviting chef Rachelle to make a lunch altogether. Even my daughter participated! First of all - the meal was delicious and healthy, second - you can learn some tricks on how to make your dinner perfect, and third - you can have a great conversation. Rachelle was so nice and professional. It seemed like she knows my kitchen better than me!! I'd love to have the same experience in the future. - Albina.

Chef Rachelle is a great teacher and her food is delicious! She was very welcoming and put me at ease from the moment I got there. I learned a lot of new techniques that I look forward to applying to my own cooking.
