Cooking Class - Shepherd's Pie Perfection

What You’ll Do

Learn how to perfect the art of a humble shepherd's pie fit for a king.

In this hands-on class, Chef Meg will guide you as you handcraft a warm two-course rustic, hearty meal. Chef Meg will use her mother's infamous shepherd's pie recipe with ground beef, mixed vegetables, and mashed potatoes.

When the temperature takes a nosedive and warmer seasons instead feel more like winter, shepherd's pie is the perfect remedy. A blanket of mashed potatoes and a savory meat and vegetable filling makes for the ultimate soul-warming comfort food. For dessert, Chef Meg teaches on an equally comforting Bailey's creme brГ»lГ©e.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a delightful time with Chef Meg. She is personable, knowledgeable, and well-organized. We learned many tips as she led us through the Shepherd's Pie and Creme Brulee preparation. Our time together was an absolute joy.

My boyfriend and I took Chef Meg's Shepherd's Pie cooking class and were very impressed with the experience. We enjoyed the atmosphere and learned new cooking techniques along with the recipes. Meg was very fun to talk with and made us feel at home in her kitchen. We will definitely recommend her to our friends and would not hesitate to take another class in the future!
