Cooking Class - Spectacular Soups and Sauces from Scratch

What You’ll Do

Join Chef David for a soup and sauce spectacular overflowing with fun and flavor.

In this hands-on class, Chef David will show you how to prepare a variety of soups using chicken, beef, and vegetable stocks, as well as the knife skills to prepare fresh meats and vegetables each soup will showcase.

You will begin by learning about bone broths with a traditional French onion soup. Then, move onto the creamy favorites of soul-warming clam chowder and heavenly lobster bisque. Next, ethnic soups hailing from Italy, Mexico, and Vietnam pave the way for the chilled soup finale featuring classic gazpacho and simply elegant vichyssoise.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Now in Denver, he has run one of the largest catering companies, and was the chef of the celebrated CityGrille downtown.

Chef David is great chef! All of his dishes were delicious. He was very personable and made the experience laid back and fun. I especially loved the Pumpkin Gnocchi dish, which was topped with fresh sage. It was the perfect winter dish!
