Meet your chef
Chef Najmieh Batmanglij, born and raised in Iran, learned the art of Persian cooking from her mother, but perfected her methods in France, where she followed her passion for creating delicious meals. She has spent the last 35 years cooking, traveling and adapting authentic Persian recipes in the U.S. With seven well-reviewed cookbooks under her belt, Batmanglij is now settled in Washington, D.C. and teaching Persian cooking techniques using fresh, local produce.

Chef Najmieh is one of the best Persian chefs in the US. I love her abilities as a teacher to really share her experience and skills with her students and get them closer to Persian cuisine. Highly recommended!
