Create a festive Mexican four course feast with Chef Michael!

Chef Michael will teach you the principles of making fantastic, traditional Mexican dishes in this hands-on cooking class, and the secrets that make your favorite Mexican food so addictive.

Start with fresh fire roasted salsa verde and cool guacamole which you'll fry fresh chips to dunk in these classic Mexican dips. Next, get a primer on taco basics before you make pressure-cooked tender pork tamales by hand. End the class by forming pate a choux for freshly fried churros rolled in cinnamon sugar.

Chef Michael welcomes guests to bring beer or wine to enjoy with the meal.

Chef Michael began working in restaurants at the age of 15, attending Le Cordon Bleu after high school. He pursued experiences in fine dining at such restaurants as Citrus@Social and the Getty center, where he grew his passion and skills. Soon after, Michael created and ran a successful catering business for many years before transitioning to the private chef industry, where he has focused his energy for the last five years.

This was a wonderful experience, a small class in an intimate setting. Everything was hands on so I learned a lot. I will be making these dishes in my home often.

Chef Michael was fantastic. I learned some things and he was great with my 9 year old nephew. We got to be as involved as we wanted and had fun along the way. There was so much food and it was all so yummy. I will definately take another class with Chef Michael!

I treated my friend to a cooking class for her birthday and I'm so glad I did. Chef Michael was fantastic! He was friendly, professional, and lots of fun. He tailored the experience to our cooking level and let us decide how hands-on we wanted to be. It's worth mentioning that the food was also delicious and I now know how to make tamales from scratch! 100% would recommend to anyone.
