WHAT YOU’LL DO
Learn clever DIY tricks and professional techniques for creating restaurant-quality pasta.
Chef Stefano spent a good part of his life cooking in Italy before coming to Los Angeles, and now with Michelin Stars under his belt, he’s ready to share some of his trade secrets. In this class you will learn the art of expert pasta making while employing techniques like sous vide.
First, Chef Stefano will teach you how to make classic bucatini carbonara, a creamy, pork, egg, and cheese infused pasta dish that originated in Rome. Next you will learn how to make melloreddu with a homemade tomato sauce flavored with saffron. Finally, end the evening creating orecchiette, a small “ear-shaped†pasta from Southern Italy, served with kale and a decadent anchovy butter.
