Young chefs go from budding bakers to confident cooks with five days of baking fun.
This immersive cooking series designed for ages 7-11 builds a strong foundation in the art of baking with essential techniques and fundamental kitchen skills. Each day will focus on a different sweet or savory bake such as kneading dough or twisting handmade pretzels. Guided by a chef instructor, students learn basic food preparation and kitchen safety best practices. In addition to culinary know-how, summer cooking classes teach important lifelong skills such as communication, confidence, creativity and teamwork. The series culminates with a fun challenge to test their new skills.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

It was fun but I wish we could’ve worked with our group only. I don’t want other peoples hands in my food and it’s hard when you have a kid in your group and need to let them do everything. I was very disappointed in this. The class was very rushed at the end too.
